TRAVELOGUE

Day 1: Departure for Korhogo

Departure from Abidjan in the morning towards Korhogo for Domaine Bini Poro (600km). Relax in the evening and enjoy a candlelit dinner.

Day 2: Educational walk & Visit to the Granite Quarry.

For this day, you will start with an educational walk and you will climb the Gnambelegue Mountain. 

After making a stopover at the sacred pebbles, you will visit the granite quarry. Return to Domaine Bini Poro to attend the Boloye, the panther dance.

Day 3: Artisanal visit to Korhogo

We will go to the village of Waraniéné, located 5km from Korhogo, to see the weavers and beads of Kapélé.

Then, visit the village of Koni to discover the traditional blacksmiths. 

Then head to the Kôkô district for mask sculptors. 

We will take a trip to the Marche des Arts to discover Fakan’s paintingsa and a trip to the Korhogo Museum. Night at Bini Poro.

Day 4: Niofouin & Kouto

On the way to Boundiali, we will make a stopover at Niofouin, to visit the Case aux Fétiches.

Then we will leave for the village of Kouto where you can discover the century-old mosque and attend a traditional Senoufo dance. 

Night in the town of Boundiali, at Iman's Hotel.

Day 5: Touba

We will leave for the town of Touba (3h30). During the journey, you will be amazed by the mountains in the distance. We will settle into the Reyata-So hotel and visit its orchard. 

Then we will leave to discover the sacred caves of Touba.

Day 6: Man, his cacades and his sacred monkeys

Once there, you will settle into a camping area. 

You will visit the famous natural waterfalls of Man, where you can swim. 

Finally, you will be able to get up close with the monkeys of the Sacred Forest of Gbêpleu. 

Night on site. You will witness the dance of knives.

Day 7: Dent de Man

Hike to the Dent de Man, the region's famous twin rocks, which gives a panoramic view of the city. On the way back, you will have the opportunity to see the natural waterfalls. (5 hours of round trip hiking). 

Night at camp. You will watch the stilt walkers dance.

Day 9: Danané and its liana bridge

We will leave in the direction of Danané, located 1 hour from Man, where the famous liana bridges are located, an architectural and cultural jewel whose construction remains a secret to this day. 

Return to camp in Man. You will witness the traditional Yacouba mask dance.

Day 8: Mount Tonkpi

Visit Mount Tonkpi, located 25km from Man, one of the highest mountains after Mount Nimba. 

Visit to the house of the governor, Pierre Mesner, and night there.

Day 10: Abidjan

Breakfast, stopover in Yamoussoukro for lunch and return to Abidjan.

Payment terms

  • A 50% deposit is required when booking.

  • If the traveler cancels more than 14 days before the scheduled arrival date, you will receive a 90% refund. 

  • If the traveler cancels between 5 to 14 days before the scheduled arrival date, you will receive a 50% refund. 

  • If the traveler cancels less than 5 days before the scheduled arrival date, the traveler will not receive a refund. A credit valid for 6 months will be offered.
